About Cunningham's Laundromat
A true Scotia landmark, Cunningham's Laundromat has a rich history of serving the community. The site first opened as a Chrysler dealership in 1950 before becoming a laundromat in 1961. Since purchasing the business in 2003, the current owners, who have lived in the area their entire lives, have continued the tradition of providing top-quality service. Their deep local roots and commitment to customer satisfaction are at the heart of everything they do. Cunningham's Laundromat isn't just a business; it's a trusted neighbor dedicated to supplying high-quality products and services.
At Cunningham's Laundromat, customers can expect a superior laundry experience thanks to top-of-the-line equipment and a focus on results. The facility features self-service, coin-operated washing machines that run for 23-30 minutes, ensuring a deep clean every time. Each wash includes two or three rinse cycles with fresh, clean water, made efficient by large supply lines for fast filling and a state-of-the-art trough system for quick draining. Once washed, clothes are dried quickly in commercial-grade Dexter dryers that reach temperatures over 190 degrees. Beyond laundry, Cunningham's also operates a convenient ice business, producing and supplying seven and twenty-pound bags of cubed ice and ten-pound blocks for both local businesses and individual customers.
