Founded by Sharon Brinks, a Wichita resident for over 30 years, the business was born from a desire to create a different kind of laundromat—one that is consistently safe, clean, friendly, and professional. The mission is to raise the standard of laundry service for the community, a commitment that has been recognized with the "Best In Wichita" award for both 2023 and 2024. At The Laundry Station, customers find everything needed for a fast and efficient laundry day. The facilities offer a range of services, including traditional self-service, convenient drop-off and pick-up, and specialized comforter cleaning, with same-day service available. The laundromats are equipped with all new, high-efficiency front-load washers in sizes from 20 to 100 lbs, capable of handling any load, plus large 45 and 75 lb tumbler dryers. This modern equipment allows most customers to get their laundry done in less than an hour. For maximum convenience, payments can be made with coins, credit/debit cards, or the Speed Queen mobile app. Both Wichita locations are always attended by helpful staff and feature amenities like an ATM, a bill changer, and a variety of laundry supplies, snacks, and beverages for purchase.
